West Loop AfterCare Needs Part Time Assistant

Bennett Day School in the West Loop is looking for an Assistant for our AfterCare program. This would be a great position for an undergraduate or graduate student studying education, psychology, sociology, etc. The hours are great (2:30-6pm Monday through Thursday and 11:30-6pm on Fridays) and the position is salaried (no benefits, though). We are looking to hire as soon as possible, as we are one week away from AfterCare starting.

Bennett Day School is a newer, independent school located in the West Loop. We are a progressive school rooted in the Reggio approach. All of our students come to learning through hands-on experiences and innovative projects. Our school currently serves Pre-K through First grade. We are adding one grade per year, and will eventually house Pre-K through Eighth Grade. Our current campus is at Fulton and Union; this campus will become our Early Childhood Annex once we move to our new campus at Grand and Morgan (two blocks from the new Google Midwest HQ). AfterCare is an extension of the school model, and Assistants are expected to create activities, as well as be leaders within the program.

Any student interested can find more information here: Bennett Day School AfterCare Assistant and can email me directly with their resume and cover letter. We are looking to hire immediately, and would likely schedule interviews for early next week.
