Two Bilingual Positions at Wood Dale District 7

The vision statement for Wood Dale District 7 asserts that we will be an exemplary school district.  Progress toward achieving this vision was evident when the Illinois State Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Tony Smith, selected Wood Dale District 7 as one of only two “showcase school districts” he visited when he came to DuPage County in August 2015.  After spending time talking to students and teachers in our classrooms and meeting with administrators to discuss the educational programs we offer to our students and families, Dr. Smith had this to say about District 7:
“You are already doing what so many school districts have just begun to consider.  You are doing wonderful work to support children and families.  I’ll be using tips and takeaways from my visit (to District 7) to help me improve the state agency.”
At District 7, we dedicate our resources to develop students who are resilient, lifelong learners who strive for excellence and become engaged citizens
