On the job training (OJT) is practiced within our school buildings, at community work training sites, and through volunteer service opportunities, or through supported paid job experiences. The Vocational Specialist plans, implements and coordinates vocational services for the Mid-Valley New Directions high school program.

Upcoming Education Job Fair @ NEIU

Roosevelt University's College of Education will co-sponsor a 2015 Education Job Fair.   The Job Fair will take place on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. in Alumni Hall on the main campus of Northeastern Illinois University (NEIU), at 5500 N. St. Louis Avenue in Chicago.

Collaborate and co-teach with general education teachers to ensure academic proficiency for each student in Special Education to be achieved through curriculum.
