Gads Hill Center looking for Early Childhood Lead Teacher

The lead teacher in Gads Hill Center's early childhood program is responsible for planning and implementing structured educational activities based on program curriculum that adhere to licensinhg standards and funder requirements.  Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and Illinois Professional Educator License with Early Childhood Education endorsement.  Endorsement in Bilingual Education in Spanish is preferred.
The lead teacher collaborates with the teaching team to provide a classroom environment that is reflective of diverse races, cultures and languages and adapts teaching in response to children's differences. This position encourages parents to become involved in the classroom, Parent Committee and Policy Committee as well as conducts home visits twice per year.

Entry Salary Range: $40,000/ 10 months. Location: 2653 W. Ogden Ave, Chicago
