Illinois Safe Schools Alliance seeks a Curriculum & Professional Development Director. This position is full-time and can be based in Chicago, Champaign, Peoria, or Springfield. The core hours for this position are Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00pm; however, this position does require travel statewide as well as attendance at meetings and events occasionally on evenings and/or weekends. Salary is commensurate with experience; benefits include health, dental, vision, and life insurance; paid leave; and paid holidays.
Provide leadership in the planning, development,
and production of LGBTQ-inclusive curriculum materials, processes, and best
practices that are evaluated and demonstrated to be highly effective in
improving student outcomes; Manage the growth and
implementation of the Alliance’s professional development programs;
Partner with the Executive
Director, Development staff, and Board members on
all fundraising activities
including special events, cultivating individual donors, developing sponsorship opportunities,
fee-for-service programming, and grant-writing and reporting.
