Position Title: Type 04 Teacher 

Qualifications: 

• Type 04 credential is a must 
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or Bachelor’s in any field with a minimum of 30 hours of ECE semester credits 
• Working knowledge of Creative Curriculum and Teaching Strategies GOLD 
• Must have experience working in an early childhood classroom. Prior Head Start experience is preferred 

Job Description Summary:

The Type 04 Teacher is responsible for providing children with a developmentally appropriate, safe and healthy environment to advance their physical and cognitive growth and development, in compliance with Head Start Performance Standards. The comprehensive goal of the teacher is to provide children with high quality educational instruction and to prepare them for kindergarten.
