Two Temporary Mathematics Teachers Needed This Spring at Jones College Prep

Jones College Prep, the number 3 ranked high school in the state of Illinois, will have 2 full-time temporary mathematics teaching positions in the spring (one from March - June, the other from April - May) due to maternity/paternity leaves.  Due to their increasing student population, they are anticipating an open math position for the 2016-2017 school year, so there is the potential for a permanent position the following year.

Jones is a selective enrollment public school in downtown Chicago with a high-achieving, diverse student body.  Candidates should have an enthusiasm for math and working with high school students, as well as a willingness to learn and develop professionally.  Interested candidates should be highly collaborative and open to new teaching styles and ideas.

If interested, please submit a resume and cover letter to Math Department Co-Chair Sara Seitz, sseitz@cps.edu
