Urban Teaching Assistants Needed

Providence Englewood Charter School is a kindergarten through 8th grade charter school serving the Englewood community. We are part of the public education system, and enrollment is FREE. Our purpose – the reason we exist – is to prepare our students for a successful high school career leading to enrollment in college.

TEACHERS’ ASSISTANTS Responsibilities Include:
·        Supports classroom teachers in planning and implementing whole group and small group instruction
·        Provides intervention and extension strategies to all learners
·        Teaches alongside/in place of classroom teachers when needed
·        Participates in professional development
·        Collaborates with classroom teachers, administration and families to meet the needs of all students

 Minimum Qualifications:

·        Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university

Preferred:

·           Urban teaching experience
