YMCA Early Childhood Program Director Needed

Hiring for the YMCA:

•Looking for a highly qualified Early Childhood Program Director

•Location: Crystal Lake

•40 hours per week

Under the direct supervision of the Senior Program Director, the Early Childhood Program Director is responsible for the program development, planning and implementation of the Early Childhood Day Care Center including but not limited to curriculum development, staff recruitment, supervision, promotion, parent-child relationships and budget management related to program area.

Requirements:

Must meet all state licensing requirements, including be 21 years of age and have a Bachelors Degree in Education or related field along with:

•60 college credits with 18 credits in early childhood education (ECE) OR

•2 years of child development experience and 30 college credits with 10 credits in ECE and proof of enrollment in college until 2 years of college with 18 credits in ECE have been achieved OR

•Completion of a credentialing program with 12 college credits in ECE and 2 years of child development experience OR

•Completion of a training program accredited by the American Montessori Society or Association Montessori International

•2-5 years of previous management experience in a licensed child care facility.

•Employment is subject to a background check.
