To help the Jesse White tutoring program 1st
through 6th grade students in an after-school program on Tuesday and
Thursday evenings from 4:30p.m. to 6:30p.m. at the New Jesse White Community
Center located at 410-412 West Chicago Avenue. This is a one-on-one tutoring
program and each volunteer tutor is assigned his or her own student to work
with throughout the school year.
This program is operated in partnership with Cabrini
Connections tutoring program (which serves 7th through 12th
graders). All applicants must submit to a nationwide background check which
includes fingerprinting. If interested in volunteering, please contact Toni
