Hyde Park Neighborhood Club seeks a part-time After School Teacher for Grades 5-8.Under the direct supervision of the Out-of-School Time Program Director, the School-Age Teacher will oversee assigned classroom and age-appropriate programs for children ages 5-14 years. A school-age Worker will demonstrate the skill and competence necessary to contribute to each child’s development. The School-age Worker is responsible for implementing enrichment activities, leading homework time and assisting with homework, and for providing a nurturing environment for the children. This position averages 15-20 hours per week, 2:25 or 3:15-6:30 on all school days during the regular school year. A start time of 2:25 is available or a start time of 3:15. Salary is $13/hr.
Job Specifications & Mandatory Requirements:
At
least 19 years of age.
Availability
during after school hours and full days during CPS holidays and seasonal
breaks.Must submit to a background check.
