A mother who lives in the South Loop (about eight blocks from RU) is looking for a math tutor for her third grader, who is enrolled in a classical program at Skinner West and is studying third grade math.
Rate: $20/hour. This position could continue during the summer, excluding 7/1-7/15 and 8/5 to 8/29. It could also include additional hours for general child care. An ideal candidate would be experienced with motivation and rewards (sticker charts) and have a strong interest in common core math. The student is currently working on common core long division. This would be a convenient position for a student living in the South Loop.
