H.S. Science Teacher sought

ACE Tech Charter High School is seeking a dedicated educator and school leader to serve as a Freshman and Senior science teacher. Freshmen take Unified Science, an introductory science class that covers the basic principles of engineering and scientific methods; seniors take an elective science.  We require a candidate deeply committed to teaching students to problem solve and think scientifically while building scientific skills and literacy. We are seeking candidates that view teaching as leadership, collaborate well with others, and can manage both details and relationships.

Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in a Science and a valid Illinois Teaching Certificate for High School Science.  At least 2 years of teaching experience in an urban high school setting is preferred
