Special Education Teacher Sought in Chicago

Young Women's Leadership Charter School of Chicago is looking for a special education teacher to provide direct instruction for self-contained classes and to proactively collaborate with general education teachers to plan for and modify instruction of students with IEPs and 504 Plans.  Candidates should possess:

• Required state teaching certification (LBS I or II) in special education.
• Highly Qualified status under No Child Left Behind.
• Knowledge of IDEA, the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001, the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as well as state and local special education programs and systems.
