Great Lakes Academy Charter School is looking
for an Elementary Teacher who will be a part of a team of game-changing teachers working to change the face
of education on the South Side of Chicago. In grades K and 1, teachers co-teach and work
collaboratively for student success. In grade 2, there are approximately 22
students per class, and teachers co-plan lessons, but teach alone.
A
Bachelor's degree and valid state certification or licensure is required. Two years teaching
experience in an urban public school or charter school setting is preferred.
